The Cape Ann Art Haven, a thriving community arts organization in the heart of Gloucester, encourages artists of all ages and abilities to develop creativity and confidence through hands-on learning and collaboration. Children and teens attend after-school, weekend and summer classes, exploring techniques in nearly every visual art form imaginable. Thousands of community members join us for pumpkin carving, ice sculpture building, buoy painting and countless other free public art events throughout the year.

Art Haven recently expanded with the addition of The Hive: Art Haven's Community Center. The Hive is committed to serving teenagers and adults, by providing a creative outlet and opportunities to build self confidence, but also through teaching job skills that will enable young people to become employable members of today's growing creative economy.  Our 4,000 square foot studio space on Pleasant Street allows us to better serve our high school and adult artists through expanded studio space and new courses.
